True? False?

I made this blog so that I could one day look back at all I’ve accomplished or all I’ve tried (failed) to accomplish.
I’m humble about it.
No one will have to ask me about my startup story…just read my blog.
I wanted this journey. I wanted the good and bad. I wanted people to know because I wanted to be as forthright as possible.
People should hold me accountable and by keeping a blog, everyone can comment and tell me everything you like and dislike.

I’ll tell you just as much, if not more, about Zipr Shift’s failures than I’ll tell you about our successes, basically.

Starting a business is tough work.
It’s even tougher when the people you deal with don’t have integrity …even your government.

As a child, you’re taught that you should be nice and treat people with respect.
Well, business often doesn’t work that way.
Older people seem to tell that to children with the hope that the children will be better than they were… refusing to see that children learn by example.
“Do as I say, not as I do.” Doesn’t often work.

Now, I’ve spoken with hundreds of companies/people over the past few years and some were great, some were slimy… and the egregious examples are here on this blog.
Namely, speaking with the VP of IDEAL Fastener and his playing ‘Alice in Wonderland’ of how he got to my website.

Sure, I’ve battled getting sued for libel (by only nanoGriptech at this point and their statute of limitations is likely up) and maybe I will. Though, everything on this blog is backed up by hard evidence.

  • What is the VP of IDEAL going to say? -That he didn’t play ‘Alice in Wonderland,’ refuse to acknowledge my invention, and then ask for me to send him my earliest prototypes and drawings EVER?
No company really interested in partnering with another company is going to just straight up ask to see their whole timeline of product development on the very first call, especially before they’ve even recognized what that the present version of the product is.
  • Is nanoGriptech going to say they didn’t get $5 Million of federal dollars to make iterations of the same tech?
I tried calling, emailing, etc… they won’t tell me what they’re going to do!
  • Is YKK going to say they don’t lobby so my citing everyone who contacts me, warning me about the ‘YKK lobby’ is false?
I don’t even think DoD procurement would back them up on that.
  • Is DoD going to say it doesn’t train so-called public servants to misappropriate tech from small businesses?
Let’s just look at all the lawsuits filed against the government by productive citizens who went to it for help only to be screwed over.

The truth hurts. And it is not actionable.
I don’t put anything on this blog that isn’t true or my opinion…and I always make sure there’s supporting evidence.

I’m just a regular human being who is trying to do something purposeful with my life…
…and I’ve just come across A LOT of jerks.

Even worse, I’ve been told, “That’s just the way it is… you’re only making [DoD] not want to work with you.”
I refuse to kowtow to the Fed when their job is to help me.
For all I care, if someone in the government doesn’t like this blog then they’re unfit to be a public servant. Because all I’m doing is disclosing all the ways ‘public servants’ try to subvert productive citizens.

I’m leaving a negative Google review for EVERY government org with terrible customer service that I come into contact with.
They should be reviewed publicly based on customer service just like a restaurant or retail store.
Like so: https://goo.gl/maps/hisXiqo2d9D2

I started a petition: https://www.change.org/p/department-of-justice-small-business-government-procurement-corruption
Over 200 people that I don’t even know have signed it.

I will demand respect for what I’ve done for zippers without credentials, education, and experience in the zipper industry.

It’s too bad the media is really shirking their investigative responsibilities for entertainment so much that blogs like mine have to exist in order to publicly reveal some of the inner workings of the government and business.
