This blog is about Zipr Shift’s struggles, frustrations, hopes, ambitions, successes, failures, twists, turns, hurdle, and more.
But, we’re having hurdles that only a few startups ever face.
I’ve named these struggles the “Fight of the Unicorn.”
It appears that only companies with groundbreaking technologies face these hurdles.
Some of the hurdles:
- The Feds trying to steal our technology, as it has done with the revolutionary technology of so many other unicorns
- Dealing with the bureaucracy of standard setting bodies in our hope to get ASTM to test our closure to restandardize ASTM D2061
- Disbelief that it works which amounts to questioning the veracity of our (certified) testing resource…even though they’re CERTIFIED
Sometimes I feel like giving up.
I heard from a fellow inventor that the government threatened to throw him in prison for suing them for patent infringement.
That’s the level of corruption I face. And, I will continue to face it.
The hurdles aren’t part of the journey. The hurdles ARE the journey.
I fight to take over the entire $100 Billion+ zipper market because I should. My technology is the best zipper out there yet it costs less than weaker technologies. It should be the one that is used.
This is the Zipr Shift team.
