Dear Inbound Leads, PT 2

This is basically becoming a FAQ…
PT 1 : http://www.zipintothefuture.com/dear-inbound-leads/

Yes, we’re OK!
We’ve successfully funded/gotten through two pre-productions manufacturing in the USA. We’re funding the third, new pivot pre-production right now.
We don’t spend capital like most startups. I’m very frugal and thoughtful with our money. We have a runway for at least 10 years and/or 3 more pre-productions/productions.
We’re patient. We would’ve launched too soon for the market anyway – had to go back and pivot the tech.

All of the drama about DoD money is about government money funding government need. We’ve been successful about obtaining capital… we just want to figure out what’s going on with NatickSRDEC and nanoGriptech.

No, we’re not in a lawsuit with nanoGriptech!
We honestly do wish we were in that defamation suit that they sent a fraudulent cease and desist letter about. We wonder does WSGR still even know they are part of this!?
nanogriptech fraud cease and desist letter
Aw shucks! It’s almost the 3 year anniversary!

But, the thing about people that aren’t forthright is that they never want their doings brought into the light. I never intended to harm them; I just wanted answers. They know that so they’ll never sue.

OIG investigations take half a decade or more and they’ll need to finish up their funding, release the summary reports, and have their actions move into the future for us to get some answers… because hindsight is 20/20.

We put our negative drama online for the court of public opinion – you decide. We want the archive-able, discoverable, public history of the negative aspects of our public journey more than anything…and before our potential success. Please comment below about any stuff we say that you think is horrible.

People like us are likely the reason the DoD is trying to be more public facing and startup friendly.
We don’t even really post our successes in a zillion articles or press releases so there’s hardly anything for people to judge us on that’s positive – we’re not celebrities, we’re business-minded engineers. Our product is still in pre-production.

If you think we’re unnecessarily creating enemies then that’s because you don’t understand business (business is just customers and competitors) or know anything about the number of allies we have because we haven’t told you.

No matter how much we complain about DoD, DoD still wants samples and DoD still is a customer.
We hope that you will be customers too.
But, you aren’t the government, our dealings aren’t public matters, and so unless you’re incredibly unscrupulous then you won’t be complained about either. If you are, then we’ll want people to know. Our hindsight is the foresight of our posterity.

So, no, we’re not dying or even decrepit. Just waiting for the moment to strike…after getting done with our pivot pre-production.
We’re making sure we don’t put out disgraceful stuff like this misleading graph where a ‘pressure gradient’ is expressed as ‘psi’ not ‘psi/unit of length’:
pressure gradient as psi
How does anyone know what this closure can really do with shoddy/meaningless units – just how wide is the closure? How do you have a definite force without knowing the distance? …and “6000 seconds”…? Who says “6000 seconds ago…”?
Cringe.

Source of above graph: (nanoGriptech website) https://nanogriptech.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/19540-Hermetic-Closure-Chart-1-1.jpg

I’m just really irked at them and will be until there are answers. Even when they’re gone, I’ll be irked if I never know why.
It’s just that I saw what they were doing and am amazed the government is allowing this fraud to continue. From fraud graphs to fraud cease and desist letters.
They aren’t competition. They’re placeholders or something.
The government itself knows this and hence this nearly 1 year pending public contest: https://www.innocentive.com/ar/challenge/9933788.
If you’ve been funding the solution for 5 years, then why do you need something else?

It’s like a book I keep re-reading. I do that a lot. You see or get something different each time. But their story continues… until it doesn’t.
Re-read the prequel then read the sequel then re-read the prequel…

Here at Zipr Shift* we’re detailed, observant, and dedicated to closures.

*Our name may be changing once we launch the new pivot. 🙂
I’m so excited!

    1. I have emailed nanoGriptech at several email addresses (Metin’s, Paul’s, etc.) numerous times over the years. They have not ever replied to one. They did not even reply to my asking them to go ahead and sue me for defamation so please put me in touch with your counsel.
      It’s pathetic.
And, yes, I did. Ironically, no closures on the market. They go back to what their product’s intended use is as a friction device. It looks like a good product.
After $5 Million taxpayer dollars FOR CLOSURES and millions in private funding, they come up with eyewear cushions that they sell direct-to-consumer on Amazon.
